This section is the most significant, if not the core of the overall Canadian Sikh Heritage website. Through a brief look into time by looking at the history of Sikhs in British Columbia, through the more infamous incidents such as the Komagata Maru, and especially through the interviews with Sikh pioneers, archives, and photo gallery, this section will provide the reader with a vision of the experiences of those Sikhs who first migrated to British Columbia one hundred years ago. Indeed, the more hands-on elements such as the interviews and photo gallery help in giving the viewer a more vivid glimpse of the past.
