Medical Camp June 8, 2008
The Khalsa Diwan Society of Abbotsford held a Medical Camp on June 8, 2008. Doctors donated their time to give Sangat check-ups.

Vaisakhi 2008
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
On Sunday April 13, 2008 Khalsa Diwan Society of Abbotsford celebrated Vaisakhi:
There was Nishan Sahib Sewa at both the Heritage Gurdwara Sahib and the new Gurdwara Sahib across the street. We also held a Medical Camp with Dr. Bhatti, Dr. Bhurji, Dr. Bhattal, Dr. Bubra, and Dr. Dhami. Also, Hardeep Aulakh from Cedar Park Pharmacy was in attendance to help the doctors.
Guest speakers included Hari Nam Singh Khalsa, Mayor George Ferguson, Councillor Moe Gill, University of Fraser Valley president Skip Bassford, Satwinder Bains(CICS), and radio hosts from local radio stations.
Khalsa Diwan Society of Abbotsford presented the University of Fraser Valley president, Skip Bassford, with a $5000 donation for the the Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies. Our website, www.canadiansikhheritage.ca was officially launched.
It was a great day, with Sangat in attendance from all over the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland and USA.
